Permanent Cosmetics
Micro pigmentation is a process by which we implant a small amount of pigment in the dermis layer of the skin to create an illusion or enhancement where hair or color is missing.
This is perfect for the busy person who has little time to apply make-up. Women with oily skin seem to enjoy this as well as the women who are allergic to cosmetics and particularly helpful for those who suffer from other illness’ which make application of cosmetics difficult.
Eyebrows $395
Eyebrows play an important role in framing the eyes. Sparse eyebrows can be reshaped and evenly finished including beautiful hair strokes. For the person who has lack of definition in the brow, we can also provide a beautiful arch that will fully enhance your facial expressions.
Lip Definition Liner $350 Full Lips and Liner $495
Micro pigmentation of the lip can be perfect for the uneven vermilion borders. Permanent lip liner can change the size and shape of the lips. We successfully do procedures around the lip line using natural colors to provide a fuller look. Lip color can be applied in a natural hue or a more vivid tone. You can wear it by itself or experiment with different shades of lipstick over it. If you are prone to Cold Sores, we suggest you obtain a prescription for Zovirax or Valtrex capsules and take them before and after the procedure, for five days total. It is wonderful to never have to apply lipstick again.
Eyeliner Full Liner $395 Top or Bottom $250
Eyeliner can be designed in several different ways to provide the best look for you and your eye shape. It will also make the lashes appear thicker without wearing mascara, defining the beauty of the eyes. It can be as thin or as thick as you choose. What can I expect from this procedure?
This procedure is similar to electrolysis. Pigment is instilled by a delicate pricking of the area designed. Disposable sterile needles are prepackaged for individual use. We offer the non- machine as well as the machine tecnique.
Discomfort Involved?
Some discomfort may be experienced. The use of topical anesthetics can be used to lessen any discomfort. Minimal swelling may occur. Benadryl may be suggested before and after the procedure to lessen the discomfort. Most patients return to work the next day.
How permanent is this?
Micro pigmentation can produce either semi-permanent or permanent results depending on the technique used. Fading of all colors will occur naturally. Your color selected may be very light, which will require touch ups for optimal results. Most pigment will require a touch up every two or three years. This only enhances the beauty of the initial procedure with additional tones and dimensions.
What if you already have existing permanent cosmetics?
We can easily customize a new look for you by changing your existing design. You may want to change your look to a more dramatic one or simply compliment what you have to get the“best” look for you.
What do you need to know?
Colors changing in the skin are also common. However corrective measures are easily available. Always ask to see the technician's before and after photos so you may see several variations in their work. Photos should also be of fully healed patients to show proper results. Most professional artist will design their work beautifully and safely. We advocate touching up every few years because colors can fade and trends change
How are Permanent Cosmetic Procedures Done?
Permanent cosmetic procedures are performed using various methods, including the traditional tattoo or coil machines, the pen or rotary machine and the non-machine or hand method. The process includes an initial consultation, then application of pigment, and one follow up visit for adjusting the shape and color or density of the pigment.
